Natural Wonders Photography provides the opportunity for everyone from complete beginners to professionals to experience the wonders of the natural world in many different locations in the UK and overseas. Our group sizes are always small so that maximum time is spent taking photographs without getting in each others way! This also allows our experienced tutors to be there when you need us to help you with your photography. You will also get from each trip exactly what you require.
You do not need expensive camera equipment. You do need a sense of humour! If you have both you will enjoy your tour and take away memories that will last for a very long time. We aim for each trip to be an amazing experience for all of you which is why we have spent time carefully planning the minute details of each one. We also offer one to ones. Please just ask for details.
We are keenly aware that we have to respond to local conditions and adapt itineries to make the most of opportunities. Flights are not included in our tour prices but we will always provide information on recommended flights, times and routes.

His other passion has always been the beauty of nature including wildlife. You would often see him wandering around the countryside and river banks in the hope of spotting local deer, badgers, foxes or his favourite avian the kingfisher. Approximately ten years ago Dean decided to embrace the digital era and combined his passion for wildlife with his knowledge of photography and has never looked back.
Dean has now moved on from wandering around the coutryside and devoted most of his time in capturing images that many of you may have seen or know. His time, effort and dedication has produced some award winning images that have been published both in the national press and magazines worldwide. His kingfisher on the ” No Fishing ” sign was also used by Carl Zeiss in the advertising campaign for their new Victory SF binoculars, endorsed by wildlife expert and T.V. personality Simon King. Dean has also featured on the BBC Radio2 breakfast show presented by Chris Evans and his cheeky water vole image entitled ” One of my 5 a day ” made an appearance on BBC breakfast T.V. which was presented by Susanna Reid.
Other accolaides include winning the Nature TTL wildlife competition with his little owl image entitled ” Batman ” this image has now become the logo for windows on wildlife nature photography hides.
She has had an interest in photography for many years and after a successful career as a registered nurse in the NHS she turned her attention to becoming a professional photographer. Ann studied photography at Poole College and Bournemouth University, becoming a professional wedding photographer in 2012. She is passionate about photography and loves capturing memories, whether it be a wedding or a special occasion. After 10 years of photographing many beautiful weddings and meeting lots of lovely people she decided she wanted to devote her time entirely to her passion, wildlife photography.
Although Ann has always had a love of nature and animals, her passion for photographing wildlife really began with her first trip to Kenya in 2011. For her there is nothing better than being outdoors with nature, and she feels that spending time with a wild creature is a great privilege; and a wonderful experience to be part of their world for a small moment in time. Photographing wildlife takes patience and perseverance. Sometimes it really is a waiting game but the rewards can be immeasurable.
Over the past 13 years Ann has won many national awards for her photography and had images published in national newspapers and magazines. She feels very fortunate to be able to visit many places in the UK and abroad to photograph wildlife, including travelling to Kenya many times in the past 12 years.
Ann is a member of Nature First (https://naturefirst.org/en/), an alliance for responsible nature photography. Wildlife photographers have a special connection with the natural world; they spend a great deal of time in nature and are privileged to see many wonders. Ann hopes that through her wildlife photography she can help inform, educate and inspire people to prioritise and care for the natural world and conserve our wonderful wildlife.
